From June 15 to 18, 2021, under the guidance of the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Transport, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and the People's Government of Shaanxi Province, sponsored by the China Highway Society, the Executive Committee of the World Transportation Congress, the People's Government of Xi'an, and the Shaanxi Science and Technology Association, and undertaken by Chang'an University and Shaanxi Transportation Holding Group Co., Ltd, The World Transport Engineering Technology Forum jointly supported by domestic and foreign transport science and technology organizations was successfully held in Xi'an International Convention and Exhibition Center.

With the joint efforts and strong support of all relevant parties, the World Transport Engineering Technology Forum has achieved fruitful results. Under the current severe epidemic situation abroad and the suspension and postponement of most international large-scale exchanges in the field of transportation, the holding of the World Transport Engineering Technology Forum has attracted extensive attention and attention from the global transport community, and WTC is becoming an important stage for international exchanges in China's transport.

From June 16 to 18, the World Transportation Engineering Technology Forum was held in Xi'an with the theme of "New Technology, New Mode, New Transportation". On the two-and-a-half day forum, leaders of many international organizations and countries in the field of transportation attended the meeting online, 23 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Sciences made specially invited reports, more than 1300 well-known experts at home and abroad were invited to make speeches and exchanges, and more than 8000 technical writers, young scholars and students in the field of transportation attended the meeting.
