On 5 June, 2017, China Highway & Transportation Society (CHTS) and China Institute of Navigation (CIN) jointly held the Award Ceremony for CHTS and CIN Science & Technology 2016 in Beijing. As one component of WTC 2017, the Ceremony successfully concluded not only enhanced the influence of the CHTS and the CIN Science & Technology Awards, but also provided one good opportunity for the winners to participate in relevant activities of the WTC 2017.

It is reported that, a total of 540 applications were received for the CHTS Science & Technology Awards, among which 177 ones got awarded, including 1 Special Prize, 27 First Prizes, 69 Second Prizes and 80 Third Prizes; as for the CIN Science & Technology Awards, 60 applications got awarded, including 2 Special Prize, 13 First Prizes, 31 Second Prizes and 14 Third Prizes.
