On 9th March, 2018, Director of Greek H.I.T come to visit China Highway and Transportation Society（CHTS）, aimed to exchange and discuss the related issues of preparing of Belt and Road International Transport Alliance (BRITA) & World Transport Convention (WTC).The Deputy Secretary-General of China Highway and Transportation Society, Mr. Ju Rongyun, and the relevant staff from the International Cooperation Department, attended this Meeting.

Secretary-General, Ju Rongyun expressed “welcome H.I.T to visit CHTS”, and given a brief introduction to Belt and Road International Transport Alliance (BRITA) & World Transport Convention (WTC)-- the two key tasks initiated and undertaken by CHTS. Dr. Honghua Zhang, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department, made a detailed report about the preparation of BRITA and the specific issues of its members.

Director of H.I.T introduced Greek Hellenic Institute Of Transport gave us a image of H.I.T. Which is a affiliates under Centre For Research And Technology Hellas(CE.R.T.H.), representing the Greece to participate in many research projects on transportation in the EU , with advanced scientific research ability and excellent international cooperation experience.

The both sides have discussed about the members and constitute members of BRITA. The members of BRITA should be further expanded and become an important platform for international organizations, governments, academies to enhance exchanges and cooperation. H.I.T will full support and active take part in the establishment of Belt and Road International Transport Alliance (BRITA)& World Transport Convention (WTC).
