The WTC Standing Committees are pleased to sponsor a special hybrid session/seminar, which will highlight ongoing work by Ph.D. students who are nearing the completion of their doctoral research in the areas of “New Data, Problems and Methods in Emerging Mobility Services”. The session will be held as a part of the 2019 World Transportation Convention in Beijing, and provide a great opportunity for the students to discuss their dissertation studies with attendees from all over the world. Doctoral students, who wish to present their dissertation research, should submit an abstract including the title and complete author information in English or Chinese with no less than 2000 words. The Abstract Template may be downloaded from the official website of WTC: http://www.wtc-conference.com/.The research abstract should be submitted through the 2019 WTC paper submission system at http://www.wtc-conference.com/, by choosing JC0701 Doctoral Student Forum for the track-subject-committee, as well as sending a copy to Dr. Cao (caopeng@swjtu.edu.cn) with the subject line “2019 WTC Doctoral Student Research Session in New Data, Problems and Methods in Emerging Mobility Services”. Students should NOT re-submit a paper that has already been submitted through the normal WTC process.The deadline for submission is March 31st, 2019. The authors will be notified by April 30th, 2019 as to whether they are selected for presentation and, if so, their place on the program. The authors, whose submissions are accepted, will be waived from registration fee for attending the 2019 WTC and issued the certificate of Doctoral Student Research Session. Both Ph.D. candidates who are close to graduation and recent Ph.D. graduates are welcome to participate in the Doctoral Student Research Session.
